Visiting Croatia - Baska Voda

Live at the beach!

In the year 2000 we toured South East of Europe on motorbikes. Part of our journey was Croatia, to be more specific Baska Voda. We spent six days in Croatia (three days in Baska Voda). Despite the fact it was not allowed to sleep right at the beach, we did that. On the right picture you can see us getting up. It was about 6 a.m. Why so early? It was impossible to stay in the sleepbacks any longer because of the sun which caused even at this time such a hot whether.

Doing walking tours!

Despite the hot wheather we did some long walking tours. We went up the highest peak of the mountains (to be precise small hills). The highest peak was about 400m above the see level. On the left picture you can see us walking up the hill. It took us 3 hours to get there and to be honest, in such whether it was not easy at all.

So here it is. We made it. After long and exhasting three hours we reached the point. On the left picture you may see me having some rest. I hid the beer because I did not want anyone to think some bad things about me.

And the way back...

Well, the way back was one of the worst thinks which happend to us on the tour. On the lef picture you can see me taking last look at the horizonts and taking a deep breath before walking down back to the beach.
